About ECCC

Emerald City Comic Con is the destination comic and pop culture show for the Pacific Northwest. ECCC delivers the best that the comics and pop culture industry has to offer directly from the creators, bringing super fans exactly what they crave: interaction with quality content and guests and an inclusive space to celebrate their fandom.

In 2019, Emerald City Comic Con soared to 98,000 fans over four days and featured hundreds of comic book guests, celebrity guests and more. Plus, we introduced new venues for our celebrity guests and main stage!

Emerald City Comic Con is produced and run by ReedPop, with a full team dedicated to bringing you the best content at ECCC each year. ReedPop also runs New York Comic Con, C2E2, Star Wars Celebration, and the PAX shows, among many others around the globe. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves– we’re here to talk ECCC.

In accordance with state and local law and the requirements of the Washington State Convention Center, Emerald City Comic Con requires all attendees, exhibitors, media, guests, and show management staff to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test to enter ECCC.

“Full vaccination” means that your date of entry to ECCC is at least 14 days after your final dose of an FDA/WHO approved or authorized vaccine. For our full FDA/WHO approved/authorized vaccine list, please see our FAQs.

For unvaccinated attendees – antigen COVID-19 tests must be taken within 24 hours of the event start time, and PCR COVID-19 tests must be taken within 72 hours of each day of entry to the event.

Individuals 11 years and younger must arrive with proof of a negative COVID-19 test as further described on our website, unless they have gotten fully vaccinated since the age group opened up for vaccinations.

Visit our entrance procedures page for more information about entrance procedures

There are a few ways to make your journey to ECCC! Here are some options whether you are driving in or enjoying Seattle public transportation!

You can buy tickets to the best weekend of 2021 right here. Are the tickets you're looking for sold out? Visit our official reselling platform, Lyte.

All attendees six-years-old and up need a ticket for Emerald City Comic Con. Kids 6-12 must purchase a Kids 4-Day ticket to attend ECCC. For those 13 and over purchase of an adult ticket is required. Please be prepared to show proof of age onsite. Please note, all minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian

Kids 4-Day tickets are for fans ages 6-12. Similar to other tickets, Kids 4-Day tickets can and will sell out, so be sure to get yours early. Please be prepared to show proof of age onsite (a copy of a birth certificate or ID card is plenty). Once all Kids 4-Day tickets are allocated, no more will be released. If Kids tickets sell out, you can purchase a regular day ticket to attend the show.

Tickets to ECCC vary in price. Check out our ticket pricing breakdowns on our ticket information page.

ReedPop provides ADA Stickers to individuals who may have mobility, physical, vision, hearing, cognitive, psychological, or any other type of disabilities that may not be visible. An ADA Sticker identifies you to Staff, Crew, and Security and indicates that you may need additional assistance.

More information on where you can pick up medical stickers will be available in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions or require additional accommodations, please reach out to us at

Remember, companions for those that require ADA Assistance need to purchase a ticket.

The ticket mailing deadline is Sunday, October 10 at 11:59 PM PT. If you are purchasing your tickets before the ticket mailing deadline, they will be mailed via USPS to the address you provide. If you are purchasing your tickets after the ticket mailing deadline, please bring your email confirmation to Will Call (location TBA).

ECCC tickets are non-refundable and non-upgradeable. ECCC badges are also non-resellable and non-transferable unless through the Lyte Badge Exchange. For more information, please visit the Lyte Badge Exchange page.

Don't worry, we got you. In the event that ECCC is postponed, your badges will automatically transfer to the new dates. If ECCC 2021 is cancelled, you'll automatically receive a full refund, no further action required. However, if ECCC 2021 occurs as planned in December (which we fully anticipate happening), our traditional no refund policy stands—your badges are yours to have and to hold unless you'd like to resell them through our Lyte Badge Exchange.

Emerald City Comic Con is teamed up with Lyte to provide the Lyte Badge Exchange, ECCC’s only official ticket exchange. Fans may return their sold out badge types to Lyte, or they may make a reservation to purchase an ECCC badge from Lyte after a given ECCC badge type has sold out. By purchasing badges from Lyte instead of the secondary market, ECCC fans can help undercut scalpers, receive fairer prices, and be assured that they are purchasing a genuine badge.

For more information, please visit the Lyte Badge Exchange page.

NEW THIS YEAR! All ECCC merchandise purchased during registration before the ticket mailing deadline on October 10 will ship with your badge so you can wear your new geeky merch to the show! If you want to check the status of an order, please email the ECCC Merch Team.

Will Call is where you will go to pick up tickets, including any orders placed after the ticket mailing deadline or any international orders placed. Will Call is located at the Grand Hyatt Seattle in the Princessa Ballroom on Level 1.

Rules & Policies

View details on security policies and measures at ECCC.

Losing stuff isn’t fun (ugh, we’ve been there), but we want to make sure all belongings find their owners during ECCC. Please bring all found items to the WSCC Level 4 Info Booth. If you have lost something go to the Info Booth on WSCC Level 4 to see if anyone has turned it in. Think of it as our own little Room of Requirement.

If you're hurt, find an ECCC staff, Minions or nearby security and we'll get you the help you need. There is also a First Aid station on WSCC Level 4 Atrium Lobby, WSCC Level 4 Show Floor in Hall 4E, and WSCC Level 6 in Room 699.

If you are being harassed, witness someone else being harassed or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the ECCC staff immediately. We are happy to contact our security or local law enforcement, provide escort, a safe place or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to make sure they feel safe for the duration of the show.

You can also report an incident via the ECCC Mobile App. To do so, tap the Anti-Harassment Policy icon and follow the steps under Report Harassment. Please fill out the form in as much detail as possible so we can address the situation immediately and thoroughly. If you’re still in the area where the incident took place and you feel safe to stay there, our security team will meet you there.

Emerald City Comic Con has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:

  • stalking
  • intimidation
  • offensive verbal comments
  • physical assault and/or battery
  • harassing or non-consensual photography or recording

  • national origin
  • gender

  • body size
  • disability
  • appearance
  • religion
  • citizenship
  • pregnancy

If a person engages in harassing behavior ECCC staff will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from ECCC with no refund. Our policy applies to EVERYONE at the convention. Exhibitors, fans (attendees), speakers, guests, professionals, press, staff, Minions and security are all subject to our Anti-Harassment policy and will be held to the same standards and disciplinary action.

Due to space limitations, all of these items are not permitted in any of our panel rooms either.

If your item can be easily collapsed, you may be able to store it against the wall of a panel room, but please check with Staff at each room to ensure space availability.

ECCC staff and building management shall have sole discretion in any matter that they believe may affect public safety or be important to protect the integrity of the event.

Hate symbols are not permitted at ECCC, including as part of cosplay, and ECCC will not allow costumes that contain hate symbols or appropriate the symbolism of hate groups, including, but not limited to, historical/comic-related/satirical costumes that are associated with Nazis.

Please review our entire weapons policy before attending ECCC. Failure to adhere to our policy may result in your item being confiscated or your removal from the show without refund.

If you’re bringing, buying or selling something that could maim, damage or cause serious bodily harm, we’re going to take issue.

Please use your common sense - if your prop can be mistaken for a real weapon, do not bring it.

ReedPOP provides an ADA sticker to individuals who may have mobility, physical, vision, hearing, cognitive, psychological, or any other type of disabilities that may not be visible. An ADA sticker identifies you to Staff, Crew, and Security and indicates that you may need additional assistance.

You can pick up an ADA sticker to adhere to your ECCC badge when you get to the show at one of the ADA Access Centers located on WSCC Level 1, WSCC Level 4 Info Booth, Hyatt Regency on Level 3 or Sheraton Grand Hotel, Level 2.

In the event you bring a prop that is deemed unsafe for the show, you have the option of returning it to your car/home or we will confiscate your item. Your item may be picked up at the end of the day at the Info Booth on WSCC Level 4 between the hours of 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday. Any items that are not picked up by Sunday at 6:00 PM will be discarded.

We don’t like them! The buying and selling of counterfeit/knock-off/unlicensed materials is not tolerated at Emerald City Comic Con. ECCC is a celebration of the best of popular culture and bootlegs have no place in the show. Violation of this rule will result in one and only one warning. A second violation and you'll be removed from the show.

All minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian.

Sorry, Emerald City Comic Con does not provide child care services on site. And truthfully, we’re probably not the most qualified people to have babysit your kids.

Find an ECCC staff member or security guard and we will help you locate your missing party member. We strongly recommend that when you arrive at ECCC, you and your party pick a location to meet in case anyone does get lost (psst..outside one of our Info Booths is an excellent choice).

REMEMBER: If you have a Kids ticket, you can write your phone number right on the ticket so in case someone gets lost, we can call you directly

We are unable to use the PA system for fans or exhibitors. We recommend you arrange a time and place to meet beforehand.

There is a coat check on site to check any coats, bags and other small items during your time at the show. This service is offered for $3 per item and items left overnight will incur an additional $3/day charge. All items must be picked up by Sunday at 5:30 PM.

For the most part, you're welcome to take still pictures and video at ECCC; however, please note that all photography and recording is prohibited during panels and screenings. Also, please understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs with fans. Guests have a right to their privacy, and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.

No, selfie sticks are not allowed at ECCC, but we strongly encourage taking awesome selfies in all permitted areas, or asking a fellow fan to help you take a photo.

Emerald City Comic Con will attract local, national and international press. In purchasing this ticket and in consideration for being admitted to the event, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. There are plenty of convenient locations throughout the WSCC and TCC, or there are plenty of options within walking distance of ECCC too. Check out our new Food Guide to help find the best place for you and your crew to grab a bite to eat.
