With the evolving nature of the COVID-19 situation, a lot is changing quickly. We are constantly looking at the published guidance from federal, state, and local health authorities and government and trying to make decisions that can accommodate all of our customers and promote a safe gathering. We have made the decision to require approved face coverings for all participants. Verification of vaccination or proof of negative test are not required for admission to the Seattle Convention Center or ECCC.
Please check this page often for the most up-to-date information. Please be advised these policies are subject to change and every participant, including fans, exhibitors, guests and staff must comply with the health & safety requirements in place at the time of ECCC.

DAILY HEALTH MONITORING
All participants are asked to review and confirm they are able to comply with the Health & Safety Acknowledgement prior to entering ECCC, including ensuring that they are not currently experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19. Anyone who is not feeling well or begins to experience symptoms at any time during ECCC should contact and follow the guidance of their physician. No one is permitted entry to ECCC who is not in full compliance with the health & safety requirements and the Health & Safety Acknowledgement.
SANITIZATION AND HYGIENE
ECCC has worked closely with the Seattle Convention Center to implement cleaning and sanitization standards that meet or exceed the recommendations of the CDC. It is the responsibility of everyone to maintain personal hygiene, including washing your hands frequently.
FOLLOW ALL SIGNAGE AND DIRECTION FROM STAFF
Please adhere to all signage and direction from all staff. We have adjusted our layout and implemented exhibitor recommendations with the wellbeing of our guests in mind. Operational adjustments may occur throughout the event.
COMPLY WITH THE CODE OF CONDUCT
Please be aware of and respect the personal boundaries of your fellow participants so that everyone can enjoy their time at ECCC.
HEALTH & SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Please be advised that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any event or public space, including the event. Prior to registering for and attending the event, please ensure you have read the latest CDC Guidelines for Prevention. By attending the event, you acknowledge this inherent risk on behalf of yourself and/or any Minor attending the event for which you serve as Guardian (collectively, “You”) and, as a condition of entering the event, You acknowledge, understand and confirm each of the following in accordance with applicable health guidelines:
- That You will abide by all terms of admission and participation (as may be updated from time to time) and event health-and-safety requirements, including wearing an approved face covering if required;
- That You are not currently experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19, as identified at CDC.gov, including, but not limited to:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- That prior to attending the event You have not been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a CDC-recommended quarantine;
- That You are not under any self-quarantine or isolation orders or subject to any CDC self-quarantine or isolation protocol; and
- For purposes of this acknowledgement, a “Minor” means any individual who under eighteen (18) years of age or has not reached the age of majority as defined by such individual’s jurisdiction of residence, and a “Guardian” means such Minor’s parent or legal guardian or other individual attending the Event who is over the age of eighteen (18) and acting in loco parentis for such Minor. Please see the event’s terms of participation to confirm the age requirements for entry.
Please do not enter the event or the event venue if You cannot confirm all of the above criteria. If at any point during Your time at the event You do not meet all of the above criteria, You will be required to isolate and may be relocated or asked to leave the venue at the sole discretion of event management.

ECCC FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
ECCC show management partners closely with Seattle Convention Center, local, state, and federal health authorities to maintain a robust operational plan designed to maximize the health and safety of everyone. These Include:
- Strict sanitization and cleaning procedures
- Hand sanitizing stations
- Layout design and spaces to promote a safe experience
- Exhibitor guidelines and booth design standards
- Reduced contact transactions

Everyone in attendance at ECCC is expected to fully comply with terms of service for participation ECCC, including all health and safety requirements. Acknowledging the requirements and agreeing to comply is a condition of entry (See the Health & Safety Acknowledgement).
We will have a team of dedicated Mask Stewards roaming the event to supply masks if needed and ensure all individuals are wearing theirs.
A health & safety contact phone number will be clearly noted on signage throughout ECCC to allow for reporting of any concerns or issues.
Show management may remove, ban or revoke the badge without refund of anyone who fails to comply or impacts the safety or security of the Event, each in show management’s sole and absolute discretion.
ECCC expects everyone attending ECCC to adhere to our various policies, including our code of conduct, anti-harassment, security screening, and more. We will have a team of dedicated Mask Stewards roaming the event to supply masks if needed and ensure all individuals are wearing theirs.
