Seattle Public Library Level 4 – Room 2
Language:

Parents and administrators contest the legitimacy of comics -- and bring their own backgrounds to their assumptions about the form. Students may notice points in popular culture that teachers see differently, across generational divides and cultural differences. What do you do when you get a hard question? How do we keep a conversation going and take it deeper? Educators and cartoonists and publishers join to discuss stories, strategies, and take questions from the audience.
