Drop in for hands-on activities, workshops, games, story time, meet & greets, and plenty of opportunities to make something together.

Being a geek has no age requirement. Family HQ is a place for families to play, create, learn, and discover new fandoms together. Draw with professional creators, get moving with interactive activities, meet characters you love, try something new, or just give those little con legs somewhere fun to wander.
Whether this is their first ECCC or they’re already building an impressive badge collection, there’s always another adventure waiting. 🎨🦸✨

Drawing Demos + Workshops
Meet some of the talented artists and creators who make ECCC special and learn a few tricks along the way. Family workshops give budding artists a chance to draw, create, and learn directly from professionals from Artist Alley, Writers Block, and beyond.
Play + Get Moving
Sitting still is overrated. 👀 Jump into games, performances, story time, interactive activities, photo opportunities, and other wonderfully nerdy ways to play together.

Sometimes your favorite characters wander right into Family HQ. Keep an eye out for family-friendly cosplay meet & greets featuring heroes, princesses, Pokémon trainers, anime favorites, galactic adventurers, and more.

Calling all aspiring Avengers; when duty calls, how will you save the world?! Design your superhero identity, choose your powers and sketch out your own out of this world outfit to match.
Hands-On Activities
Color, craft, build, play, and make a little creative chaos. Family HQ activities give kids something to do, not just something to watch.

Learn a new skill and make something along the way. Family workshops feature drawing, crafting, creative activities, and other sessions designed for kids and families.
