Side Quest is all about gaming at ECCC!
Hours: Level 4: Thursday 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Summit Building - Lvl 4 Rooms 431-438 and Level 5 inside and outside of the Tavern
Are you never bored with board games? Are you a button mashing master? Then it’s time to level up your fun in the Side Quest! Whether you’re hardcore or casual, digital or analog – we have something for you. Featuring organized play, tournaments and free-play for all the hottest new games, retro favorites and can’t-miss classics, Side Quest is the perfect place to take a short rest. It’s dangerous to go alone so grab your friends and head on over because we’re ready to play!
This year, join new and returning partners and participate in fun activities like tournaments, LARPing, and more!

TCG & Tabletop Tournaments
TCG Tournaments brought to you by Zulu’s Board Game Café at ECCC 2026 will include Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, Klask, and more! Check the schedule below for details on when and where. All Day and On Demand events available as well, head to Room 434 to learn more from Zulu’s!
Free Play Tabletop Games
Our in house board game library is free to borrow from, come check in and check out a fun game for you and your friends! This year, you can find the Library on Summit Level 5 in the Tavern.
Tabletop Miniature Gaming
Bring a friend and dive into the world of tabletop miniature gaming! Test your strategy, explore detailed worlds, and experience the excitement of head-to-head play together. Join on either Friday March 6, or Saturday March 7, for Doctor Who “Mutants”. Game times can be found in the schedule below.
Indie Game Showcase
Step into the Indie Game Showcase and discover the creativity of independent game makers from the Pacific Northwest and beyond! This space is all about fresh ideas and new voices in gaming, featuring designers and publishers who are just starting out or building their first few titles. Stop by and play games at the Indie Game Showcase. Creators will be showcasing their games to share their process, answer questions, and invite you to try something new. Schedule below!

Want to play some D&D? Open to players of all levels, beginner to experienced, come join the Alexandria RPG Library on Summit Level 5
Gaming Lounge
Need a place to sit and play? Stop by Room 437-439 where you can bring your own whatever you prefer to play! Bring your switch or card game or whatever game you fancy and relax a little in our new Gaming Lounge.
Atomic Robotics
Experience the thrill of competitive robotics firsthand! Take control of a real student-built robot, maneuvering through obstacles and scoring game pieces in our interactive driving booth. Perfect for all ages to learn about engineering, teamwork, and the future of technology. Drive the bot, feel the excitement, and get inspired! Find Atomic Robotics in Room 430 all weekend long.
