We Create x ReedPop Mentorship Program
ECCC is a hub for artists and writers of all types with varying levels of expertise. ECCC has worked with We Create – Mentorship. Partnership. Community. professionals in the industry to build a weekend track of programming specifically created for newer artists and writers in their careers. These panels, workshops, and sessions will help launch careers and aid creators in navigating the world of pop culture conventions such as exhibiting in Artist Alleys. This track of programming will help creators with their portfolios, writing for prose and comics, and feature industry insider tips, and more.

New Creator Breakfast
Robert Wilson IV and ReedPop are hosting a small breakfast for up-and-coming aspiring creators at ECCC. The breakfast will be invite only to facilitate the most in-depth conversation and Q&A. If there are more applicants than available spots, creators will be selected at random. Breakfast will take place at 8:00 AM, on Saturday, March 7 at the Seattle Convention Center. Application coming soon.
DC Comics Portfolio Reviews
Portfolios can be submitted at the SHOW OFFICE. The Show Office is in Terrace Suit 1 which is located on Level 4 of the Summit Building of the Seattle Convention Center.
Portfolio reviews drop offs:
Thursday, March 5 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday, March 6 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday, March 7 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Review sessions for these submissions will take place the following day, you must have a ticket to the following day to participate.
- Portfolios MUST contain your contact information. This includes your full name, cell phone number, and e-mail address.
- The portfolio review schedule will be posted each morning at the SHOW OFFICE on Friday March 6, Saturday March 7, and Sunday March 8. Please visit this location to confirm your scheduled review time and location for the reviews.
- Do not leave original work with us. Whatever your portfolio contains, make sure you keep the original work. We cannot be responsible for any lost or misplaced work.
- Please respect the editor's time and opinion.
- Review sessions are limited to artists only.
- Not all submissions will be chosen for review.
- Please note: Submissions/portfolios will NOT be returned.
Friday is Educator’s Day at ECCC!
When: Friday, March 6, 2026, 11:15 AM – 5:00 PM
Where: Room 347
We’re excited to announce that educators who attend Educator’s Day at Emerald City Comic Con can earn up to 5 clock hours! The day’s panels are designed to inspire creativity, enhance classroom skills, and explore ways to introduce pop culture into the classroom. Clock hours will be provided for free. Educators who wish to attend Educator's Day must have a valid pass for Emerald City Comic Con.
